Simply a 51 minute comprehensive collection revealing 69 copious miniatures of playful and profound perplexity. Growing from early TV commercials through complex film title music to vignettes of audial vision, they exhibit my enjoyment of the mini-form, originally stimulated by necessary financial survival and the chance introduction to the world of TV advertising. Very early on, I lost two prestigious jobs by not asking enough fee! Overriding this, my ability to maximise initially crude multi-tracking techniques helped a lot to forge the path of an important mini-strand.
Moving through chromatic and blues harmonica to a banjo quartet for Kodak Instamatic to crashing piano for a car hire firm into tape editing wizardry for a holiday brochure, a merry tune for Butlins, electronics for BP and out with a biting mini-single P' Doo Dah.
Many of these works have been restructured by means of digital dexterity – and no Annoying Intervention!
