This 7’07” rhythmic rampage, based on a West Indian chord sequence, was played in one pass when my fingers were more dexterous on the famous Oberheim 8-Voice synthesiser synchronised with several complex delays. It was begun in 1984 and gradually supplemented with many other audio lines until I frightened myself with it. As I have often said, ’I paint with sound’: here, the canvas got so covered that my sight, and vision, became very clouded. Recently, I returned to it, took some things out and put other things in, now offering this red hot stomp to you in breathless anticipation.
