Junior Maths was the third educational TV series for which I composed, played and recorded all the original sounds and music. Yet another 28-part series, this was again produced for Birmingham-based Central Television by Paul Martin in 1984, linked by the same two presenters, Fred Harris and Mary Waterhouse. My work for the previous series, Basic Maths, was issued on the vinyl album of the same name by Trunk Records in 2024 [JBH104LP].

In this restructuring of my music, you will certainly hear the Fairlight combined with the previously formidable Oberheim 8-voice synthesiser and the usual acoustic components of my ‘one man band’, voice, harmonica, piano, banjos, guitars and percussion. Immerse yourself joyfully.
